yes well we have the second biggest chinatown in NA next to San Fransisco...even the chinese prefer not to live in chinatown....it is for tourists really...but a great place to get favourite chinese things when you are away from China. there is 28% chinese here in the population...actually over 50% asian..so the chinese (i think) feel quite at home..there are whole shopping malls that you will not find much english.
I love these places for buying Duck, pork and all the best chinese food...and the furniture stores are great too.
